Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 2026-02-26

This policy applies to paid subscriptions to BriefBook. Please read it carefully before subscribing.

1. Payments & Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all BriefBook transactions. This means Paddle is responsible for billing, invoicing, and managing the payment relationship with you. Any payment disputes are subject to Paddle's terms and processes.

2. No Refund Policy

Because BriefBook provides instant access to digital content, all subscription charges are final and non-refundable. We do not issue refunds for:

  • Partial billing periods after cancellation;
  • Unused access during an active subscription period;
  • Automatic renewal charges when cancellation was not completed before the renewal date.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Once cancelled, your subscription will not renew, and you will continue to have access to premium content until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after that date.

4. Paddle Buyer Protection

Paddle offers Paddle Buyer Protection, which may cover certain disputed charges. If you believe a charge was made in error (for example, due to fraud or a technical issue), please contact Paddle directly or reach us at hello@briefbook.app and we will work with Paddle to resolve the issue.

5. Contact

For questions about your subscription or billing, contact us at hello@briefbook.app.
